Chancellor Livingston
Vibrant and tasteful colors adorn this beautiful yet stately room. Chancellor Livingston, also known as Robert Livingston, was a prominent, refined businessman of the 19th century. It was Mr. Livingston who brought steam ships to the Hudson River. In 1816 the steam ship “Chancellor Livingston” was christened and sailed its maiden voyage. The ship later went on record as having made the fastest trip, between New York City and Albany. Imaginatively, “Chancellor Livingston” is a fitting description for this room, as it provides a regal atmosphere with river views that are second to none. Arrive to fresh cut flowers, luxury linens, oversized bath towels, plush terry robes and fine European chocolate truffles.
